The latest Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 are currently our top pick for the best running headphones you can buy and they’re on sale for the first time as part of the Amazon Spring Sale. Need I say any more?
Well, maybe I won’t, but I’ll let our Fitness, Wellness, and Wearables Editor, Matt Evans, say his piece on why he thinks they’re a good buy now that they’ve dropped to $149.95. He says: “these elite-tier sweatproof bone conduction headphones are perfect for runners”. And he would know. The lad runs. A lot.
Sticking with earbuds, here’s a great offer for a solid pair if you’re not an Apple user. You can not get the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro for $199.99 (was $249.99) – that’s just $10 more than the cheapest price I’ve seen.
These top-end buds from Samsung offer excellent sound quality and hi-res audio, along with some seriously strong noise cancellation and a comfortable, classy design. As far as premium earbuds go, these are one of the best options out there at a great low price.
One of the best-selling products in this week’s Amazon sale is the Apple AirPods 4 – and it’s easy to see why when they’re back down to a record-low price that I’ve only seen twice before.
This newest version of the popular earbuds is the ideal pairing with other Apple tech, offering a strong dynamic sound and a secure fit in a compact design that boasts a solid 30 hours of battery life. There’s no active noise cancellation, but as a pair of quality affordable buds, they’re tough to beat at this lowest-ever price.
When you think of action cameras the name GoPro is usually the first that comes to mind. But, in recent times, other manufacturers have stepped up to offer products that are just as good (and sometimes even better) at much lower prices, too. One example is the DJI Osmo Action 4, which is now $199 (was $289).
The DJI Osmo Action 4 received a solid four-star review by our expert cameras editor, who called it a “fun and capable” camera that managed to compete with GoPro’s offering. At this record-low price, then, it’s bargain for thrill-seekers after an excellent and affordable action cam.
Amazon usually takes the opportunity during major sales events to push its host of subscription services and the Big Spring Sale is no exception to that. Right now, for example, you can get an extended free trial for Amazon Music Unlimited, which scores you three months instead of one.
The saving here equates to around $30 so it’s a pretty good offer if you’re curious about this music and podcast platform. As with Spotify premium you’ll get ad-free listening here across a massive library of content, although Music Unlimited does also support HD and Spatial Audio. Note you need to be a new customer to take advantage of this deal and it also auto-renews after the free trial is up so be aware of that.
I’ve already featured Amazon’s excellent deal on the Google Pixel 9 XL but here’s another great option – especially if you want a slightly smaller device. Right now, you can pick up the latest Samsung Galaxy S25 for just $699 (was $799), which is a record-low price.
For context, the Galaxy S25 is barely a few months old as of writing so this is a red hot deal if you’re looking to buy a device upfront. You can get decent discounts at other sites right now (including free devices) but nearly all of those require a trade-in, expensive plan, or a combination of the two!
I’ve scanned through the entire Amazon Spring Sale for gaming laptops today and my favorite is definitely this Lenovo Legion 5i with an RTX 4070 for $1,399 (was $1,599). It’s not the cheapest RTX 4070 gaming laptop I’ve ever seen (more on that below) but I think this is a fair price considering you get not only a powerful graphics card, but also a beefy 14th gen Core i9 chipset and 32GB of RAM. I would have loved to have seen a bigger storage drive but this Lenovo is well specced-out otherwise.
Note, if you’re looking to save even more cash you could also consider this HP Victus on sale at Best Buy for for $899.99 (was $1,499). This machine isn’t as high-end as the Lenovo previously mentioned but it still features an RTX 4070 graphics card – and the rest of the specs aren’t too shabby for under $900, too.
It’s not often you see a Black Friday price at any other time of the year, so I have to call out this $200 saving on the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL at Amazon. That drops the flagship handset from Google back to its lowest-ever price, making it a great offer for one of the manufacturer’s most powerful and capable premium cell phones.
We had a lot of praise for it in our Google Pixel 9 Pro XL review, awarding it a respectable 4.5 stars out of five. The phone is almost identical to the Pixel 9 Pro, except, well, it’s bigger. So, if you prefer more screen real estate, then you’ll appreciate the upgrade. You also get impressive overall performance, some excellent cameras and a lengthy 24-hour battery life.
Here’s a great deal uncovered by our Staff Writer, Harry Padoan. He reviewed the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 and said it was one of the best party speakers he’s tested so had to call out this price cut in the Amazon Spring Sale. It brings the Tribit Stormbox Blast 2 down to $254.99 (was $299.99).
In his 4.5-star review, he raved about the “punchy audio” and the curved, rugged design that makes it a great portable option. You also get a generous 30 hours of battery life, which is more than enough for a few parties – or one ridiculously long one!
The Blink Mini is always an easy recommendation in an Amazon sale, as the smart camera always falls to a ridiculously low price. This time, you can get the newest Blink Mini 2 for $19.99 (was $39.99, which is a return to the record-low price I saw on Prime Day and Black Friday.
The compact security camera can be placed inside or outside your home, offers support for 1080p HD video live view wide a wider field of view compared to older models, night view in color, and there’s even a built-in spotlight for added security and visibility.
Dyson vacuums are usually pricey, so I’m always on the lookout for a saving on these popular appliances. And, as part of the Amazon Spring Sale, you can get the Dyson V8 for $329.99 (was $499.99).
This is already one of the more affordable options in Dyson’s vacuum lineup, and while it’s an older model, it’s still an excellent option for most homes. It offers good suction and excellent versatility, thanks to the inclusion of various tools and attachments to deal with all sorts of messes.
The TV deals are unexpectedly lacklustre in the Amazon Big Spring Sale, but there is one display that’s caught my eye. It’s this Amazon Fire TV 50-inch 4-Series 4K Fire TV for $309.99 (was $519.99).
At just $10 more than the price I saw over Black Friday, this is a great offer for a solid everyday TV that supports ultra-high quality 4K resolution. It also has easy access to top streaming apps and all the built-in smart features you might ever need, including voice controls. Not bad for a TV for this close to $300.
I’ve had a Fitbit for a couple of years now, and I’ve found it’s been a great piece of tech to help with exercise, fitness and sleep tracking. If, like me, you want a basic and affordable wearable to give you some basic but handy insights into your overall health, then I’d check out the Fitbit Inspire 3 for $69.95 at Amazon.
The Fitbit Inspire 3 is the cheapest fitness tracker from the manufacturer and offers all the essential features you need as a newcomer or light user. What’s especially useful is that it has a lengthy 10-day battery life, and it can link to your phone to receive alerts and notifications on your wrist. A bargain at this price.
If it’s earbuds you’re after in this week’s Amazon Spring Sale, then you should check out the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds for $149 (was $179) – that’s just $20 more than the Black Friday deal.
These top-rated buds sport excellent audio quality, impressive noise cancellation and a comfortable fit that makes them ideal for commuting, exercise or just general everyday use. I’m a big fan of Bose myself and have used the QuietComfort over-ears for a good few years now, so I can easily recommend these buds from the brand, too.
Speaking of Amazon Devices, it’s no surprise that the Fire TV Stick, Echo Pop and Ring Video Doorbell are all discounted in this week’s sale. While not everything is on sale for its lowest-ever price, there are some handy smart home gadgets available for cheap. I wouldn’t be rushing out to buy anything if you can wait until Prime Day, but there are at least a few half-decent savings here if you’re ready to shop today
• Browse all Amazon Device deals in the Big Spring Sale
Amazon sales are usually the best time to buy one of the manufacturer’s own devices as that’s when we see these products at their lowest-ever prices. When browsing through the sale, I’ve seen that many Amazon devices have actually been cheaper before, but one that bucks this trend is the all-new Kindle Colorsoft, as it’s down to a record-low price of $224.99 (was $279.99).
The unique feature of this ereader is the high-contrast 7-inch color display that allows you to read books, comics, and documents in vibrant color, as well as highlight sections in different hues. The Colorsoft keeps all the useful Kindle features, too, including the auto-adjusting front light for easy reading in many environments, lots of storage for thousands of books and a healthy eight-week battery life.
Now, here’s a TV deal that’s recommended by our TV Hardware Staff Writer, James Davidson. He says that the Hisense U7N was one of the best TVs he tested last year, and it’s now down to $679.99 in the Amazon Spring Sale – that’s a measly $2 more than the previous record-low price.
The Hisense U7N is one of the best mini-LED TVs you can buy, offering a bright and vibrant picture with excellent contrast and shadow detail. It’s also packed with great gaming features, including 4K 144Hz, VRR (AMD FreeSync Premium Pro included) ALLM and Dolby Vision gaming. Overall, this is an impressive TV for the price.
Let’s start with what is undoubtedly the best deal I’ve seen so far in the Amazon Spring Sale: it’s the Sony WH-1000XM5 Headphones for $249.99 (was $399.99).
This is a new record-low price for some of the best noise-cancelling headphones available today. They offer excellent audio quality, impressive battery life, a comfortable fit and that all-important stellar ANC to block out unwanted sounds.
We’d usually recommend the older XM4 as the upgrades in these newer cans are fairly minimal, but now they’re the same price as the previous generation model so you may as well get the latest tech.
Hello and thanks for joining me on day one of the Amazon Big Spring Sale.
I’ve had a look through the deals this morning and it’s a bit of an underwhelming start to the retailer’s first big sales event of the year. There’s not a whole lots that’s immediately jumping out to me as a bargain and many items have been considerably cheaper in the past, so keep that in mind if you’re browsing today.
Still, I’ve uncovered a few hidden gems from the sale and will be highlighting them here throughout the week. Do check back in regularly for all of my recommendation and top picks from the rest of the TechRadar team.
